Tribulation!

Good news! Laura got 6th in her first 'cross race ever today! Damn, she looked like a natural out there! She's finally over her fear of breaking her leg (again) which she did (in a mountain bike race 10 years ago)
Bad news!
The 4 horsemen of the apocalypse visited me today; soon after my first 'cross race in a decade.
Coincidence? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Or maybe it was......Satan?
Either way, after noticing that my legs no longer seemed to function very well in the last lap, I began to think something might have been up.
Then, after the race, here's the good part.
Remember that scene in "Casino" or "Goodfellas" or whatever when that gangster had his head in a vice and Joe Pesci, brilliantly, said "Dude, your head is in a vice, c'mon".
That's how my stomach felt.
I mean....damn!
Had the Karl M. drive me to the ER, where I promptly laid all my recent meals out for them to examine.
What did they find? Was it the results of sheer, balls out effort a bit earlier in the day?
Was it typhus? (you think Indian Creek is pollution free, do you?)
Was it all my past sins heaping themselves onto my GI tract like a bunch of joyful demons after a football game on Hell's Astro Turf?
Nope. Food poisoning.
Yep. I'm the only one who ate the leftover curry yesterday, and thus I'm the only one to suffer this (pardon......) sh*t.
The good thing; my lovely wife brought me a copy of The Onion Movie to watch. As honest an indictment of American Media and Cock Punching as I've ever seen.
Why am I writing this? Typing seems alleviate the screaming, hot-nail pain in my duodenum. But when I stop, it starts to hurt again.....can't....stop......ty
