OK. I'm going to do a 'cross race this weekend. Borrowed a bike and a sense of purpose. Hated 'cross 14 years ago, and hate it still. But watching my wife get progressively better and also have a shitload of fun has gotten me inspired.
I have been advised to try Clydesdales at first, so we'll see how that goes.
Went out with the family today to check out the course and got distracted by 3 of the friendliest goats I've ever met! They will be the real stars of Double Cross, I guarantee it. No matter who shows up.

I thought you said the good thing about the cyclocross season was hanging up your own bike for a month and being your wife's full-time support crew....
