I had grand plans to post news/impressions, etc. at Interbike '08. As it happened, I barely had time to wipe the dust out of my nose, let alone type anything other than emails. My employer (not mentioned in this blog as a personal rule) and I had a great show. I also had a fun ride in the Industry Cup crit. Fast as hell! Hot, dark and when I finished, unable to talk because I was dry as a cow skeleton in Death Valley! I can't find results or picture anywhere on the web, but it came down to a sprint and I simply can't do that very well.
Lots of excellent Italian carbon fiber.
One remarkable difference between this show and others: lots fewer shop rats simply asking for free schwag with alcohol on their breath. Instead, most of the people in the booth were buyers and other luminaries there to talk business and nothing else. My kind of people!
