Found myself obligated to attend the church picnic in The Dalles today. I decided to ride there and get some real training in at the same time. For those of you not familiar with Road 44, I'll post the MB profile tomorrow; it's a hell of a ride. Being alone for almost 80 mile over mega thousands of feet of climbing is always a good ctrl+alt+delete for the brain.
Rides like this always start with my brain a-swirled in old neuroses and ending in some sort of resolution. Sometimes the resolution is simply a procrastination of action steps to get over old neuroses, but what the hell.
