Andy Cap

When I was a kid, there was this comic strip called "Andy Cap". I never got it; I was more of a "Peanuts" person. Also, really had a thing for Blondie.
Any way I didn't really get the concept behind the Handicap tonight until I, dumbass, lined up with the cat 3s, thinking the 1,2 and 3s were going to catch the 4s. It wasn't until Candi reminded me that I am a cat 2, and I turned around to see my new cat 2 friends chuckling at me from about 100 feet back.
Anyway, that being said; starting from 55 heartrate to about 160 in 20 seconds flat did much to remind me that this wasn't going to be just another PIR. But I gotta say, riding in a consistently fast group without slowing down was a hell of a lot easier than the sprint and drift racing we sometimes get at PIR.
Once we caught the 3s and 4s, I thought it would be funny to yell "neutral!!!!" as we came around, just to see what would happen. I got an earful of indignance for that one, but I laughed pretty hard nonetheless.
Anyway, I won a 2 up sprint for points, which is just weird. I do not win sprints. Ever. I mean WTF.
Then I just dug in and tried for the solo win. Seemed to work.
